Volunteer Opportunities
Gallery Ambassadors: Welcome visitors and students • Assist with registration and check-in • Provide information about programs and memberships
Classroom Assistants: Help prepare materials for classes and workshops • Assist instructors with classroom setup and cleanup • Support students during special projects
Exhibition Team: Help install and remove artwork • Prepare labels and displays • Assist during artist receptions and gallery events
Writers & Authors Support Team: Assist with writing workshops • Help organize materials and resources • Support book signings and author events
Special Events Team: Assist during exhibitions, showcases, open houses, and community events • Help with hospitality and guest services • Support fundraising and scholarship activities
Creative Credits Program
Volunteers earn one Creative Credit for every hour of service.
Creative Credits may be redeemed for:
10 Credits Open Studio Pass
25 Credits Workshop Admission
50 Credits One Month Creative Membership
100 Credits Complimentary Five-Week Class
200 Credits Annual Membership
Creative Credits are designed to recognize ongoing participation. Once credits are redeemed for a reward or benefit, the credit balance resets to zero, allowing volunteers to begin a new cycle of earning and recognition.
Ambassador Recognition Program
Recognition levels are based on cumulative volunteer hours and are earned permanently.
Bronze Ambassador – 25 Volunteer Hours
- Recognition Certificate • Name on Volunteer Recognition Board
Silver Ambassador – 50 Volunteer Hours
- All Bronze Benefits • Priority Registration for Classes and Events • Special Ambassador Badge
Gold Ambassador – 100 Volunteer Hours
- All Silver Benefits • Complimentary Five-Week Class • Recognition in Center Newsletter
Platinum Ambassador – 200 Volunteer Hours
- All Gold Benefits • Complimentary Annual Membership • VIP Invitations to Special Events
Legacy Ambassador – 500 Volunteer Hours
- Permanent Recognition at the Center • Lifetime Membership • Special Recognition at Anniversary Celebrations
Scholarship Support
Ten percent of all membership fees, event proceeds, and artwork commissions are allocated to the Center for Creative Expression Scholarship Fund.
Creative Ambassadors play an important role in helping the Center for Creative Expression provide scholarships for young artists, aspiring writers, and senior citizens who might not otherwise be able to participate in our programs.
By volunteering your time and talents, you help reduce operating expenses and support the successful presentation of classes, exhibitions, special events, and fundraising activities. The resources saved through volunteer service allow the Center to direct more funds toward scholarship opportunities.
Every hour you contribute helps us fulfill our mission of making creativity accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and financial circumstances.
